Speedboat to Ocean Mania on the bay for parasailing, water ziplines, slides, FlowRider, inflatables and optional snorkel or sea lion time when those areas are open. The park is boat-access only from Nuevo Vallarta or Puerto Magico, so the day stays on the water. Staff rotate groups through stations with harness checks between aerial elements.
Boat transfer from the marina brings you to the park platform for a life-jacket briefing and an overview of the day’s ride order from the host team. You rotate through parasail flights and water zip lines with harness checks between stations, following staff signals for launch and landing zones when wind allows.
Later blocks include inflatable slides, spinner rides and the artificial wave board, with time to snorkel or visit the sea lion area when those sections are open on your departure. Ride order shifts with wind on parasail lines and queue length on slides, and hosts call groups station by station so you know when to head to FlowRider or the next aerial element.
The park sits on Bahía de Banderas and is reached only by speedboat from Nuevo Vallarta or Puerto Magico check-in points, so the day starts and ends with a marine transfer rather than a bus ride. Activities mix open-water parasail with on-platform slides and zip lines over the water, which gives a distinct feel from land-based adventure parks inland.
Open bay views surround the platform, and swell affects which launches run on a given morning. Check-in staff confirm which marina desk applies before you board the transfer boat with photo ID and closed-toe shoes ready for the ride circuit.
Minimum age is nine years on many rides, and no prior experience is required because staff brief each station before you clip in or launch. You should be comfortable with heights, speed and getting wet, and manufacturer weight limits apply on parasail and some slides.
We recommend good general health and moderate fitness for an active park circuit. Wear closed-toe shoes, bring a change of clothes, use lockers for phones when staff provide them, and avoid heavy meals immediately before spinning rides.
Ocean Mania departures are hosted by boat teams with twenty-plus years moving guests safely from marina to park platform. Parasail and zip staff follow the same PADI five-star adventure briefing style used on bay cruises, with equipment checks at each station before you clip in or launch.
Bilingual hosts rotate groups through rides so queues stay manageable on busy weekends without sacrificing harness discipline. That experience shows when wind shifts and the crew needs to pause aerial stations while keeping slide and tunnel segments running for the same group.
Check in at Las Palmas 39 or Puerto Magico as listed for this departure. Bring photo ID.
Allow extra time for traffic near marinas during busy holiday weeks.
Closed-toe shoes, swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, biodegradable sunscreen.
Guests aged nine and older can join many rides, with a responsible adult where required. Parasail, water ziplines and the FlowRider each have their own height or weight limits, which staff check at the station.
We recommend good general health and comfort in deep water with a life jacket. Younger children who sit out a ride wait with the group rather than leaving the park.
Meet at the Nuevo Vallarta office on Las Palmas or at Puerto Magico on H. Escuela Naval Militar before the boat to the park platform. Bring photo ID and closed-toe shoes for the ride circuit.
Harbour security and parking at the naval marina can take extra minutes. Arrive early so you are on the transfer, not watching it leave.
Make your own way to Nuevo Vallarta or Puerto Magico. Hotel collection is not part of this park day unless staff confirm a pickup for your hotel that morning.
Transport to and from the meeting point is your responsibility. The round-trip speedboat to Ocean Mania is included once you have checked in.
The day covers scheduled park attractions such as parasailing, water ziplines, inflatable slides, spinner rides and the FlowRider, with lockers where they are provided. Staff rotate groups through stations with harness checks between aerial elements.
Snorkel or sea lion time runs when those areas are open. If a station is closed for wind, you spend longer on slides or the wave board rather than leaving the platform early.
Meals are not part of the water-park day. Eat before you board and bring water. Any snack kiosk on the platform is extra.
A heavy lunch before parasail or the FlowRider is uncomfortable. Keep breakfast light and plan a meal after the return boat.
Plan about five hours from marina check-in through the boat ride, the ride circuit and the return. Briefings and harness queues sit inside that window.
The park is boat-access only, so you cannot wander off to a resort restaurant midway. Everything happens on the platform until the speedboat collects you.
A port fee is often collected in Mexican pesos at check-in. Keep cash for the desk because that harbour charge sits outside the online fare.
Photos and premium encounters that are not in the scheduled rotation are extra. Ask the host before you buy add-ons on the platform.
Parasail and some zip lines need workable wind. If the bay is too lively or too still, staff hold those stations and keep slides, inflatables and the FlowRider running.
Ask at the marina if a storm is sitting on the water. The park still operates many stations when one aerial ride pauses.
A swimsuit, rash vest, reef-safe sunscreen and shoes you can wet work best. Closed-toe shoes help on wet platforms, and a shirt under the parasail harness prevents chafing.
Bring a towel and a dry bag. Phones need a waterproof case on the speedboat, and lockers are the place for wallets while you rotate through rides.
Friends who book together stay on the same host rotation whenever capacity allows. Aerial rides take two or three people at a time, so the rest of the group watches from the deck and swaps in.
Tell the host if two of you want to share a parasail. They pair you when weight limits allow, then send you on to ziplines and the FlowRider as one unit.

About the centre
Puerto Vallarta
For more than twenty years, teams on the Bahía de Banderas have been running boat days, jungle routes, and ocean activities for visitors who want more than a beach afternoon. Trips leave from the Puerto Vallarta area toward islands, hidden coves, and forest canopy lines, with bilingual guides handling safety briefings and the pace of the day.
You'll find PADI dive instructors, sailing crews, and adventure guides under one roof, which makes it easier to mix snorkelling mornings with ATV or zipline afternoons without juggling separate operators. Equipment checks, transport to launch points, and meal stops on longer tours are organised as part of the experience rather than left for you to arrange alone.
