Turn one early alarm into a full north Bali story. Start on Lovina's calm waters at sunrise for wild dolphin watching, optional swimming near dolphins, and reef snorkelling, then head into the highlands for Sekumpul waterfall viewpoints and the famous photo terraces at Wanagiri Hidden Hills. Private transfers keep the long day comfortable.
The morning belongs to the ocean: a traditional jukung boat, dolphin pods at first light, optional in-water encounter, then snorkelling over coral. After returning to shore you drive south through mountain scenery to Sekumpul for distant waterfall views and lunch at your own pace, then continue to Wanagiri for lake panoramas before the journey back.
Step-by-step timing is in the itinerary below.
Lovina Beach sits on Bali's north coast in Buleleng. Sekumpul and Wanagiri are in the central highlands above Bedugul, offering classic rice-terrace and twin-lake scenery.
Minimum age 10. Comfortable swimming helps for snorkelling. Bring seasickness remedy if you are prone on boats. Expect a very early start and a full day on the road.
One booking covers Bali's best-known dawn dolphin experience plus two highland photo highlights without planning separate drivers. Local guides on the boat and air-conditioned transfers between stops keep the pace manageable.
Private hotel pickup in the pre-dawn hours. Wait in your lobby at the confirmed time. You can also meet at Mentari Lovina Bar and Kitchen on Jalan Pura Subak Banyualit if arranged. Drop-off returns you to your original pickup point.
Yes. The day is graded easy on the water with optional swimming near dolphins when the captain confirms safe conditions. The inland stops are mostly photo viewpoints rather than long hikes.
Bring seasickness tablets if you are sensitive on small boats. The early start is the main challenge.
Pickup is typically around 4:30 am so the boat can reach Lovina before sunrise. Exact timing depends on your hotel and is confirmed after booking.
Plan a very early night and keep the rest of your day free for rest.
Wild dolphins cannot be guaranteed every morning, but Lovina is one of Bali's best-known areas for consistent sightings at dawn.
Swimming near dolphins only happens when the captain judges sea conditions and animal behaviour safe.
Yes. Snorkel equipment is provided for the post-dolphin reef session in clear north-coast water.
Basic swimming ability is required. Life jackets are available on request.
Food and drinks at Sekumpul viewpoints are at your own cost. There is time to buy snacks or lunch at a local warung while enjoying the waterfall views from a distance.
Pack water and a light snack if you prefer not to buy on site.
Wanagiri Hidden Hills offers panoramic lake views and popular photo platforms overlooking Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan in the highlands.
Time here is flexible for photos before the drive back to your hotel.
Private pickup and drop-off from your hotel are included. The day ends with return transfer after the highland photo stops.
Confirm your hotel address when booking so pickup timing is realistic.
Minimum two participants apply. Solo travellers need another guest on the same departure or should message about private options.
Maximum group size is 15 for this product as listed.
Heavy rain can affect boat departures or visibility at viewpoints. The listing is mildly weather dependent.
Contact the team promptly if conditions look poor so rescheduling stays possible under the Flexible policy.
Minimum age is 10 for open-water snorkelling and the long day format. Younger children are outside scope for this listing.
Always check live booking rules for how children are counted.
