Learning kitesurfing in a small group gives you the chance to pick up the basics of kite control, safety and water handling in a clear and supportive way. Sessions are built around steady progression so you can get comfortable with each stage before moving on. It is suitable for complete beginners as well as anyone wanting to improve control and confidence.
Your session starts on the beach where everything is broken down step by step, from how the equipment works to how wind direction affects the kite. The first part focuses on kite handling on land, giving you time to get used to steering, power control and how the kite reacts to movement.
Once that feels natural, the session moves towards the water where body dragging and board familiarisation may be introduced depending on your pace and conditions. The instructor stays close at all times, adjusting the session as needed so you are never rushed and always supported through each stage.
Training takes place along the southern coastline where steady wind conditions are often found, making it a suitable learning area for kitesurfing. The meeting point is Centro Comercial Eurocenter in Playa del Inglés, where participants check in before heading out to the beach location selected for the day.
Depending on where you are staying in the southern area, pickup can also be arranged to make the journey easier. The exact beach used is chosen based on wind direction and sea conditions so that each session has the best possible learning environment on the day.
No previous kitesurf experience is needed as everything is introduced from the basics. You just need to feel comfortable being in shallow water and able to follow instructions while in a beach and sea environment.
A reasonable level of general fitness helps as you will be moving between land and water and handling equipment during the session. Everything is taught at a manageable pace so you can build confidence gradually without pressure.
Kitesurfing here is taught with a strong focus on building confidence through clear steps rather than rushing through skills. Every session is structured so you can actually feel your progress as you move from kite handling to water control.
There is a real passion for wind-based sports within the team, and that shows in the way sessions are delivered. The aim is to keep things safe, enjoyable and focused on giving you real control of the kite in a supportive learning environment.
This is designed for complete beginners through to improvers who want to refine control. No prior kitesurf experience is required as everything starts from the basics.
The instructor guides you step by step so you can build confidence before moving on to more advanced parts of the session. Progression is adjusted individually within the group.
Safety is built into every stage of the session, starting with equipment explanation and wind awareness. You will learn how to control and stop the kite safely before moving into the water.
The instructor remains close throughout the session and monitors conditions constantly. If anything changes, the activity is adjusted immediately.
Kitesurfing depends on wind, so sessions only run when conditions are suitable. If the wind drops or becomes unsuitable, the lesson may pause or change focus.
In some cases, you may be rescheduled or offered an alternative date. This ensures you always get a proper learning experience.
You do not need high strength or advanced fitness levels, but being comfortable with movement and water is important. The activity involves walking on sand and working with a kite in wind conditions.
The session is paced so you can take breaks when needed. Technique matters more than strength throughout the lesson.
Most sessions include water-based practice once basic kite control is achieved. The timing depends on your comfort level and conditions on the day.
Some participants spend longer on land before entering the water, especially in early stages. The instructor decides when it is safe and appropriate.
Yes, all kitesurf equipment is included for the session. This covers the kite, board, harness and all safety gear needed.
Everything is prepared and checked before use. You only need to bring personal beach items.
Groups are kept small with 3 to 4 participants per instructor. This allows for close supervision and more personalised feedback.
If more people book, extra instructors are added rather than increasing group size. This keeps the learning experience consistent.
