Reaching the Heights of the Derwent departs from Ambergate and takes you across both sides of the Derwent Valley. This route combines canal paths, steep climbs, and open moorland, with highlights including Crich Stand and Cromford Mills.
The Dark Peak Village Explorer, starting at the Bike & Boot Hotel, leads you through the moorlands and villages of the Dark Peak. You’ll visit Great Hucklow and the historic village of Eyam, following a mix of bridleways and quiet country lanes.

Yes, riders must be at least 14 years old, as eBikes are considered powered modes of transport and our insurance does not cover those under this age.
The maximum weight limit for our eBikes is 135kg.
No, eBikes are limited to 15 miles per hour by UK law, making them as safe as regular bikes. They help with pedalling, especially uphill.
Our tours stick to trails and quiet roads, making them a safe and enjoyable experience. We also have a detailed risk assessment available for those who are concerned.
Our eBikes use tubeless tyres, significantly reducing the chance of punctures.
In the unlikely case of a mechanical issue, our support team will either replace the eBike or provide assistance promptly.

Any time on busier roads is minimal and only to connect different parts of the route.
