Join us for an exciting three to four-hour guided ride through the beautiful Surrey Hills, West Sussex, and Hampshire. Whether you're a seasoned rider or a beginner, our rides are designed to boost your confidence and fitness while allowing you to enjoy the gorgeous countryside. Expect to see varied landscapes, local wildlife, and historical sites, all while riding alongside like-minded enthusiasts.
Upon meeting at the Devil's Punch Bowl car park, we'll start with a brief introduction and safety briefing. We'll then set off on our ride, exploring trails such as the Southdowns tasters, Northdown tasters, and Downslink. Our journey includes stops at iconic spots like King Alfred’s Way, the Surrey Hills’ Devil’s Punchbowl, and Blackdown. You'll get to experience the serene beauty of Titty Hill and the Milland Valley, and enjoy the tranquil Frensham Ponds and surrounding commons.
During the ride, there will be opportunities for coaching on bike handling techniques, ensuring you gain confidence and improve your skills. As we traverse different terrains, you'll enjoy the fresh air and the camaraderie of fellow riders. At the end of the ride, if you opt for the BBQ, we’ll gather to savour delicious homemade burgers or hot dogs, with vegetarian and vegan options available, along with a refreshing local beer.
Our rides take place where the borders of Surrey, Hampshire, and West Sussex converge. The Devil's Punch Bowl, a renowned beauty spot in the Surrey Hills, serves as our meeting point. This area offers a diverse range of trails and gorgeous landscapes, making it the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable ride.
Participants should have basic biking skills. A reasonable level of fitness is required to handle a three to four-hour ride. It's recommended to bring your own bike, although rentals can be arranged upon request.
