Snorkelling across Gili Air and Gili Meno brings together some of the most well-known marine spots in the area in a single guided experience. Expect time in the water with sea turtles, colourful coral reefs, and the famous underwater statues, all supported by experienced guides, quality equipment, and a well-planned route designed around the best available conditions.
Check-in takes place at the meeting point on Gili Trawangan, where snorkelling equipment is fitted and a safety briefing is completed before boarding the glass-bottom boat. Once ready, travel begins across calm waters towards the first snorkelling stop, with time to settle in before entering the sea.
Turtle Point on Gili Air is the first swim location, where shallow seagrass beds and reef systems create a natural environment for sea turtles. Around 30–40 minutes is spent in the water here, with guide support available throughout to help with spotting marine life and staying comfortable in the conditions.
Underwater Statues near Gili Meno follow, offering a chance to swim around submerged sculptures that attract fish and coral growth. Clear visibility often makes this a popular stop for photos and relaxed exploration before continuing the journey.
Gili Meno mainland provides a break from snorkelling, allowing time to have lunch (not included), explore the island, or visit the turtle conservation area. Coral Garden is the final water stop, where colourful reef systems and tropical fish create a more relaxed snorkelling session before returning to Gili Trawangan.
Gili Air and Gili Meno sit within the Gili Islands group, just off the coast of Lombok. Calm waters, shallow reefs, and consistent visibility make the area well suited for snorkelling, with regular sightings of turtles and a wide range of marine life.
Departure takes place from Gili Trawangan, the main hub of the islands and a central meeting point for marine activities. The surrounding waters include coral gardens, sandy channels, and protected reef zones that support steady snorkelling conditions throughout the year.
Comfort in open water is recommended, although no previous snorkelling experience is required. A full briefing and equipment fitting is provided before departure to ensure confidence in the water.
Children aged 7 and above can join if they are comfortable swimming. Life jackets are available, and guides remain close during each snorkelling stop to provide assistance where needed.
Local guides bring strong knowledge of the Gili Islands and select snorkelling spots based on daily conditions to maximise visibility and marine life sightings. The route is designed to combine several of the most popular underwater locations into one smooth experience.
Safety, equipment quality, and clear organisation are prioritised from start to finish. With structured stops, relaxed travel time, and GoPro documentation included, the experience is set up to feel easy to follow while still covering a wide variety of marine highlights.
