Spend a full day exploring Favignana and Levanzo on a private boat, experiencing the Egadi Islands at your own pace. Swim in crystal-clear waters, snorkel in hidden coves, and enjoy freshly prepared local dishes on board. This customised tour offers history, nature, and relaxation, all tailored to your group’s interests.
Your adventure begins with a 30-minute ride from Trapani to Favignana, passing small islets and coastal landmarks. The first stop is Cala Azzurra, perfect for swimming and snorkelling, followed by Bue Marino, a sea cave with crystal-clear waters and a unique historical atmosphere. Cala Rossa comes next, known for its dramatic red rocks and turquoise water, offering a mix of natural beauty and naval history.
At 11:00, enjoy an aperitif on board with Prosecco, Aperol or Campari Spritz, and snacks, while taking in the sea views. After exploring the coves, the Lovers’ Cave provides a quieter, more intimate stop. Lunch is served at Favignana port, featuring traditional Sicilian dishes like pasta al pesto trapanese, pane cunzato, seasonal fruit, and drinks including soft drinks and house wine.
The afternoon is spent on Levanzo, visiting Cala Dogana, Cala Fredda, and Cala Minnola. Each cove offers calm waters for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxation, as well as a glimpse into the islands’ rich history from Phoenician times to medieval naval events. The day concludes with a scenic return to Trapani, leaving you with a full experience of the Egadi Islands’ landscapes, culture, and marine life.
The tour departs from Vento di Maestrale Marina, Trapani, located in a convenient harbour with parking and easy access. The marina serves as a central starting point for exploring the Egadi Islands, with small islets visible on the horizon during departure. Favignana is the largest island of the group, with white sandy beaches, shallow coves ideal for snorkelling, and a village steeped in tuna fishing traditions.
Levanzo is smaller and quieter, with hidden coves, crystal-clear waters, and limestone cliffs. Its small village offers traditional architecture and limited tourist facilities, creating a peaceful setting for swimming, snorkelling, and enjoying secluded beaches. The islands’ marine life, clear waters, and historical remnants provide a rich, multi-layered experience.
No previous boating or snorkelling experience is required, but participants should be comfortable swimming in shallow waters. Moderate mobility is helpful for boarding the boat and walking short distances on the islands. Sun protection, comfortable shoes, and swimwear are recommended for a safe and enjoyable day.
The tour takes place almost entirely on the water, so following the skipper’s safety instructions is essential. Participants should bring minimal personal items to keep the boat organised and enjoy a relaxed, flexible experience while visiting multiple coves and beaches.
The centre offers private, tailor-made tours with experienced skippers who provide local knowledge, from marine life to island history. Small group sizes of up to 24 people allow for flexible itineraries, ensuring each stop can be adapted to the group’s interests and pace.
Every detail is designed for comfort, safety, and enjoyment. Snorkelling equipment, onboard refreshments, and light meals are provided, and quiet coves or hidden grottoes can be accessed to avoid crowds. The combination of expert guidance, personal attention, and access to secluded areas makes this an ideal way to experience the Egadi Islands.
