A wide range of electric bikes available for hire from three locations across northern Mallorca, including performance e-road bikes, commuter options and compact cargo models. Whether you’re cycling solo, transporting children or replacing the car for the week, there’s an e-bike designed to make it easier.
Orbea Gain – E-Road
A sleek and lightweight electric road bike designed to enhance rather than overpower your ride. With Shimano 105 components and the Ebikemotion X35 motor, it offers smooth assistance without sacrificing the feel of a traditional road bike. A great fit for road riders looking for subtle support on longer climbs or windy days.
Riese & Müller Nevo – E-City
Built for comfort and capable of handling both urban streets and rural detours. The Nevo features a Bosch Performance Line CX motor, wide gear range, and relaxed geometry—making it ideal for everyday cycling or exploring further afield with ease.
Riese & Müller Roadster – E-City
Sporty and efficient, the Roadster pairs a responsive Bosch motor with clean lines and agile handling. Its 11-speed Shimano gearing and lightweight feel make it well-suited for quick rides, errands, or commuting with a bit of fun.
Riese & Müller Roadster Mixte – E-City
This is the same setup as the Roadster, but with a lower step-through frame for easier mounting and dismounting. Designed for riders seeking practicality without compromising on ride quality.
Riese & Müller Packster 40 – E-Cargo
A compact cargo bike with a surprisingly large loading area. Its Bosch motor and Enviolo hub gearing make it practical and smooth to ride even when carrying heavier loads. The Packster is well-suited for shopping trips, deliveries or active families.
Riese & Müller Multitinker – E-Cargo/Family
Designed to replace a car, the Multitinker carries up to two children securely and comfortably. With a low centre of gravity, integrated storage options and a compact frame, it’s great for families or urban living without a car.
Carrie – E-Cargo
The Carrie offers a minimal footprint with impressive carrying capacity. Perfect for everyday errands or transporting bulky loads, it features a range of modular transport accessories and a clean, practical setup for inner-city use.
Bikes can be collected from three shop locations across the north of Mallorca:
E-bikes are available to confident adult riders only and require basic cycling skills. Road-style models (like the Orbea Gain) require previous experience with drop handlebars. All bikes include assistance systems regulated to 25 km/h. Helmets are required, and riders should be familiar with local traffic rules.
With decades of experience behind them, this team has been a trusted name in Mallorca’s cycling scene since 1986. Their fleet includes a carefully chosen selection of high-performance road bikes and reliable electric models from brands like Orbea and Riese & Müller, all maintained to the highest standard. Every bike is fully inspected before hire to ensure safety and top-tier performance on the island’s varied terrain.
What sets them apart is their attention to detail and personalised service. From expert route suggestions to help selecting the right size, saddle or pedal setup, they go the extra mile to make sure your experience is smooth and enjoyable. Optional extras like island-wide delivery, route support and free breakdown pickup add even more convenience. Hiring here not only guarantees a great ride—it also supports Mallorca’s local economy and cycling community.
You don’t need to be an advanced cyclist, but you should be comfortable handling a bike and familiar with road riding or bike path etiquette. E-bikes are heavier than standard bicycles, and some models (such as the Orbea Gain or Packster 40) require a bit of balance and coordination, especially at low speeds or when carrying cargo or passengers.
If you’re new to e-bikes, staff will provide a brief overview of how to use the motor controls, display, and battery functions. Once you get used to the pedal-assist system, the bikes feel natural and smooth to ride. All e-bikes are limited to 25 km/h motor support, making them safe and legal for use across Mallorca.
Range depends on the specific model, rider weight, terrain, and assist level used. On average, most bikes (such as the Nevo, Roadster or Gain) can deliver 70–100 km per charge under mixed-use conditions. Lower assist modes and flat routes will extend your range, while steep climbs and high-assist levels will reduce it.
Cargo models like the Packster 40 or Multitinker may have slightly lower ranges when fully loaded. For multi-day hires, a charger is provided so you can recharge the battery overnight. If you're unsure about your route, staff can help estimate battery range based on your plans.
Yes, all e-bikes are equipped with powerful mid-drive motors (Bosch or Ebikemotion depending on the model), which provide more than enough torque for the steep hills commonly found across Mallorca. The gearing systems are matched to the motor, allowing you to maintain a smooth cadence even on challenging gradients.
The Orbea Gain offers a more subtle road cycling feel with lighter assistance, while models like the Nevo, Multitinker or Roadster have higher torque motors and are perfect for sustained climbing. If your route includes a lot of elevation gain, make sure to start with a full charge and bring your charger if you’re out all day.
Only specific models are designed for carrying passengers or extra weight. The Multitinker can accommodate up to two children with secure seating, while the Packster 40 is a compact cargo model capable of hauling groceries, luggage or a child seat setup.
Standard e-road or city bikes such as the Orbea Gain or Roadster are not designed for carrying children or heavy loads. If you need to carry gear or travel with family, let the team know during booking so they can recommend a bike with appropriate capacity and features.
Yes, a helmet is included with every e-bike hire and must be worn while riding. It’s not just a safety precaution—it’s required by law for electric bike users in many parts of Spain. Helmets are adjustable and cleaned between uses for hygiene and comfort.
If you prefer to use your own helmet, you're welcome to bring it. Just ensure it’s in good condition and fits securely. Wearing a helmet is one of the simplest ways to reduce risk while riding, especially on roads with traffic or uneven surfaces.
If the battery depletes, the bike will still function as a standard bicycle, but the extra weight of the motor and battery can make pedalling harder—especially uphill. This is why it's important to monitor your battery level during rides, especially longer routes or if using full assist.
You’ll be given instructions on how to read your bike’s display and estimate usage. For multi-day hires, chargers are included so you can top up overnight. Staff can also advise on recommended routes based on your bike’s battery range and assist levels.
