The tour begins at Dubai Marina where guests check in before boarding the speedboat. After a safety briefing and distribution of life jackets, the captain departs the marina and accelerates along Dubai’s coastline.
The boat cruises past the skyscrapers of Dubai Marina before heading toward JBR Beach and Ain Dubai, the large observation wheel on Bluewaters Island. The captain slows near key landmarks to allow time for photographs while the guide provides commentary about the area.
During the ride, the speedboat alternates between fast cruising and slower sections for sightseeing. Guests can enjoy open views of the coastline and skyline before returning to Dubai Marina at the end of the tour.
Dubai Marina is one of the city’s most well-known waterfront districts, surrounded by modern skyscrapers, promenades and luxury yachts. It serves as a departure point for many sightseeing and speedboat tours.
The cruise route follows the coastline past JBR Beach and Bluewaters Island, where Ain Dubai stands as one of the world’s largest observation wheels. Views may also include sections of Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab further along the coastline.
No boating experience is required. Guests should be comfortable sitting on a speedboat travelling at moderate to high speeds over open water.
The tour is not recommended for travellers with back problems, heart conditions or for those who are pregnant. Infants cannot sit on laps and infant seats are unavailable. The boat is not wheelchair or stroller accessible, and pets are not permitted.
