Yes, the course is heavily focused on practical, hands-on training in docking, anchoring, and manoeuvring in tight spaces.
The course will proceed in most weather conditions using our closed-top training vessel. In the case of severe weather, we may reschedule for safety reasons.
We limit the course to a maximum of 4 participants to ensure personalised instruction and ample hands-on experience.
The course is conducted using our fully equipped training vessel, but if you prefer to use your own boat, please discuss this with us when booking.

Jason was an excellent tutor - spot on with health and safety such practicing ‘man over board’ and giving patient instruction on how to berth without ramming the pontoon too hard (especially in the wind which was fierce at times).
