Swap the city for canopy and dirt tracks on this full-day Chiang Mai combo. You fly a 20-platform jungle zipline course, then take the wheel for an hour of beginner-friendly ATV riding through mixed on-road and off-road terrain, with lunch included and hotel pickup to keep the day simple.
After hotel pickup, you head into the hills for the Silver Package zipline run. Twenty platforms keep the course varied, with long flights through the trees and high stops looking out over the jungle. Guides handle harness fitting, clipping, and pacing, so you can focus on the lines rather than the kit.
The ATV segment follows with clear instruction and a short training course before you leave the practice area. You then ride for about an hour on a mix of sealed and off-road tracks aimed at beginners through intermediate drivers. Lunch is included in the day, and the return transfer brings you back toward Chiang Mai once both activities are done.
The activity bases sit in the green hills around Mae Raem, a short drive from Chiang Mai. Hotel pickup means you start from your city stay and head into quieter countryside for the bulk of the day.
Expect forest canopy, rural tracks, and a clear change of pace from the Old City streets. Lunch is built into the itinerary so you can stay focused on the rides without arranging a separate meal stop.
You should be in good health, aged 8 to 60, and within the 120 kg weight limit. Participants also need to reach the harness attachment height on the zipline course.
No prior zipline or ATV experience is required. The ATV segment includes a training course before you ride out, and first-timers are welcome as long as the age, weight, and health rules are met.
Local guides handle both the canopy course and the ATV briefing, so newcomers are not left guessing between two different activities. Safety briefings and structured practice time are built into the day from the start.
Pickup from Chiang Mai hotels keeps logistics light, and combining zipline plus ATV in one booking means you get air and dirt without splitting the day across two separate trips.
Pickup is from your hotel in Chiang Mai city. Have your hotel name ready when booking and be ready in reception at the arranged time. You will be driven to the activity area around Mae Raem and returned toward Chiang Mai afterward.
No. The day is designed for first-timers as well as people who have tried similar activities before. You get a safety briefing before the zipline and a structured ATV training course before heading onto the tracks.
Guides stay with the group so you can ask questions as you go. If you feel nervous at the start, say so early and they can pace the briefing and practice loop to help you settle in.
You should be in good general health and comfortable with heights for the canopy section. There is a 120 kg maximum weight limit, and you need to be able to reach the harness attachment height on the zipline course.
The ATV segment is aimed at beginners to intermediate riders and includes practice time. If you have a medical condition that affects balance, heart health, or mobility, check with your doctor before booking.
The minimum age is 8. Younger children cannot join this combo because of the harness and ATV requirements.
Adults should supervise younger participants throughout the day. If you are booking for a mixed-age group, make sure everyone meets the age and weight rules before confirming.
Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you are happy to get dusty. Long sleeves can help with insects and harness rub in the forest. Bring sunscreen, insect repellent, and a small bag for water and a light layer.
Avoid loose scarves or dangling jewellery on the zipline and ATV. Secure phones and cameras when moving between platforms or riding.
Yes, lunch is included in this day. You do not need to arrange a separate midday meal for the core itinerary.
If you have allergies or dietary needs, note them when you book so the team can plan ahead. Bring snacks only if you prefer something extra between activities.
Pickup is from your hotel in Chiang Mai city. You do not need to find the activity base yourself for the start of the day.
Share your hotel name after booking and be ready in reception at the confirmed time. Return is arranged toward Chiang Mai after the activities finish.
Plan for about 6 hours door to door, including transfer time, both activities, briefings, and lunch. Exact timing can shift slightly with traffic and group pace.
The zipline Silver Package uses 20 platforms, and the ATV ride lasts about an hour once briefings are done. Keep the rest of your evening lightly planned in case you return a little later than expected.
This is an outdoor jungle day, so weather can affect comfort and safety. Light rain is sometimes workable; heavier weather may mean delays or changes for safety.
If conditions are unsafe, the team will advise on the next step. Wear layers you can adapt and expect forest humidity even on clearer days.
Many guests feel nerves at the first platform, and that is normal. Staff brief you on harness use and clipped safety systems before you start flying the lines.
If heights are a hard limit for you, this may not be the right day. If you are only mildly nervous, tell the guide at the briefing so they can talk you through the first launches.
The listed group minimum is 2 people for this product, so solo bookings may not run unless the minimum is already met by others or the operator confirms otherwise.
If you are travelling alone, check availability for your date or consider booking with a companion. Once the minimum is met, groups can be up to 15 people.
