Leave Montego Bay or Falmouth for a north-coast day that mixes a Fern Gully drive, a swim at the Blue Hole and a relaxed tube float. Lunch is part of the outing after the river, and guides stay with you between stops so you can move from waterfall to water without watching the clock.
You drive through Fern Gully, a shaded gorge lined with ferns, before you reach the Blue Hole pools. You can swim, try a rope swing if you want one, and take your time on the rocks while guides stay nearby. Anyone who prefers the shallows can float and take photos while others climb, because the jumps are entirely up to you.
Once the swim is done you sit on an inflatable tube and follow the current downstream. You do not need special skills; you can link tubes or drift on your own after a short briefing. A jerk lunch comes after the river, then we return you to the same hotel or pier, with a craft stop for hotel guests if the clock allows.
The Blue Hole sits in the St Mary hills, away from the busier north-coast waterfall crowds, with cool pools under the trees. The tubing stretch follows shaded water through rainforest after you leave the falls.
We collect you from Montego Bay hotels or from the Montego Bay and Falmouth piers. The scenic drive is part of the day, with countryside views between stops rather than a long wait in a car park.
First-time tubers are welcome on this day. You should be happy in the water for the Blue Hole swim and comfortable sitting on a tube for the river section.
Infants travel on an adult's lap. Wear water shoes on the rocks, and tell us if anyone in your group prefers to skip jumps and stay in the shallows.
Local guides treat the island's history as part of the day, not a lecture bolted on at the end, and north-coast pickups are familiar ground for our certified drivers. We build the outing so you are not rushed between the waterfall and the river.
Your guide stays with you at each stop and keeps the briefing clear before you get on a tube. Lunch is already in the plan, so you are not hunting for a restaurant between the take-out and the ride home.
We'll collect you from your hotel or cruise pier and drive east through Fern Gully, a shaded gorge lined with ferns. Use the ride to hear how the Blue Hole and river stops work.
You'll swim in the Blue Hole pools, with time for a rope swing or a quieter float at the edge. You can skip the jumps if you prefer, and guides stay nearby while you explore the rocks and falls.
After a short briefing you sit back on an inflatable tube and follow the current downstream. You do not need special skills. Link tubes if you want, or drift on your own.
You'll sit down to a jerk lunch after the river, then travel back toward Montego Bay or Falmouth. Hotel guests may have time for a craft stop if the clock allows.
We'll collect you from your hotel lobby or from the Montego Bay or Falmouth cruise pier. Share your resort, villa or ship name so we can confirm the pickup window.
The day uses return transfers. If you need to make your own way, we'll send meeting details once we have your hotel or ship name.
You do not need to be a strong swimmer. The Blue Hole section is a swim and climb at your own pace, and the tubing stretch does not need previous river experience.
Guides brief you before each stop. If you prefer to stay in the shallows or skip a jump, that is fine. Tell us on the day so we can keep an eye on your group.
The full day is around 5.5 hours, including hotel or cruise-port pickup, Fern Gully, the Blue Hole, tubing and lunch.
Time at each stop depends on group size and traffic along the north coast. We'll confirm your collection window once we have your hotel or ship name.
Yes. A Jamaican lunch at a jerk centre is part of this day after the river section.
If you have dietary needs, tell us in advance so the team can ask what is available that day. Drinks beyond what is served with lunch are usually extra.
Wear swimwear under clothes you can get wet, plus water shoes or sandals with a strap, because the Blue Hole rocks are slippery.
Bring a towel, sun cream, a hat and a dry change of clothes for the ride back. A waterproof pouch is useful for a phone.
Yes. Return pickup is included from hotel lobbies and from the Montego Bay or Falmouth cruise piers. Share your resort or ship name so we can set the time.
Cruise guests should allow time to leave the pier. We'll drop you back at the same hotel or port.
Infants travel on an adult's lap. The Blue Hole has jumps and deeper pools that suit confident swimmers, and younger guests can stay in the shallows.
Tell us ages in advance. Strollers can come on the transfer, though the waterfall paths are not buggy-friendly.
Light showers often pass quickly, and the day can still run. Heavy rain that makes the river or cliff paths unsafe can mean a delay or a move to another date.
If the weather changes the plan, our team will explain your options. Pack a light layer just in case.
The Blue Hole sits in the hills, away from the busier waterfall crowds, so you can swim, use a rope swing, and spend time at the pools before the tubing stretch.
You do not have to jump if you would rather stay in the shallows. There is no pressure to climb, and plenty of people are happy to float and take photos instead.
We take a minimum of one guest and a maximum of 15. You may see other visitors at the Blue Hole itself, because it is a shared waterfall stop.
Your guide stays with your group between stops. The transfer is shared when numbers allow.
Hotel guests often have time for a craft-market or duty-free stop when the day allows. Cruise guests are usually on a tighter clock, so that extra stop is less likely if you are coming off a ship.
Leave valuables you do not need in the hotel safe. Bring a little cash for souvenirs if that stop happens.
