As the sister school of Beneath the Waves Freediving, every one of our guides is a trained freediving safety expert, bringing 13 years of combined experience in freediving, scuba diving, and Lanzarote's waters. With 2–3 staff on hand throughout your tour and buoyancy jackets available for anyone less confident in the water, your comfort and safety always come first. We guide you through Playa Chica — the #1 snorkelling spot on the island, sitting inside the Lanzarote Biosphere Reserve — with all equipment, insurance, and a free HD video included, so there's nothing left to think about except the water.
Location:
Beneath the Waves is easy to reach on foot if you're staying in Puerto del Carmen — Playa Chica sits centrally between the old town harbour and Playa Grande, just a 2-minute walk from our school on Calle Roque Nublo. If you're driving, there's a small free public parking area right by Playa Chica, though it's popular with divers heading to the same spot, so it can fill up quickly during busier summer months — arriving a little early is worth it if you're coming by car. For those without a car, taxis are readily available throughout Puerto del Carmen, and the intercity bus network also serves the area. there is also parking under the school
