We partner with Rewilding Britain to help protect our natural spaces for future adventures.
All centres are vetted for safety and quality. Your adventure is in good hands with adventuro.
An ATV loop in the jungle and a cenote swim afterwards, with lunch included so the day has a proper finish. Helmets and the controls are covered before the engines start. We collect you from your hotel and bring you back after you have eaten.
Pickup brings you to the park for a welcome and then the ride, with the ATVs in sight so the talk is about the loop you will actually do. You ride as a group behind the guide, dirt under the canopy, and hand the helmets back when the trail is done.
The cenote is the reward: fresh water on the same property, once the riding kit is away. Lunch follows the swim, which is the right order, and the transfer takes you back when the meal is finished.
The park is in the jungle around Puerto Morelos, inland from the reef town, with the ATV loops and the cenote on the same grounds. You ride under the trees, then walk to the pool. There is no boat trip hiding in this one, and the only swim is the cenote after the ride.
The water is cooler than the air on the trail, and getting in feels like the point of the morning. Staff show you where to change and where the group will eat, and everyone stays on the property until the pickup home.
You will need to be at least 12 years old. Most of the visit is outdoors, so sun protection and water between the ride and the swim will keep the day comfortable.
For the cenote, be happy in a life jacket and able to follow the guide in the water. On the ATV you follow the spacing and wear the helmet they fit, and the swim only starts once that kit is off.
The briefing is at the park, machines in front of you, covering how the line will ride before anyone moves. If you want a slower place in the line, say so then. The guide sets the order before the first engine starts, and the swim is kept as its own lovely part afterwards.
Guides set a pace a mixed group can keep and pull the line together at the stops. If a track is too wet they cut it short and tell you at the briefing, before you are halfway down it wondering whose idea this was.
Hotel lobby pickup applies on routes that include transport; be ready at the stated departure time with photo ID for children if parks require it.
Self drivers receive meeting point coordinates and parking notes from the operator ahead of the activity date.
Wear light clothes you can move in, closed shoes, and a hat. This includes an ATV and a cenote, so sun cream and a bottle of water are worth having from the start.
Bring swimwear underneath if the visit includes a swim, and a dry layer for the van or the boat. Secure anything you do not want to lose.
You should come ready for an ATV ride and a cenote swim. Most of the time is outside, so the heat is as much a part of the day as the activity itself.
Take water when you need it, and tell the guide at the start if you want a slower place in the group. That is much easier than trying to catch them once everyone is already moving.
Lunch is included on this visit, so you do not need to bring a meal with you. If you have a dietary need, tell the guide at the start of the day so they can pass it on before you sit down.
Bring water for the time you spend between stops, because those gaps can be longer than they look. Extra drinks may be for sale, but do not count on a shop being open at every place you stop.
Light rain does not usually stop the visit. Lightning, a rough sea or a track that is too soft can shorten or move a section, and the guide explains that before you continue.
You will hear the change before you kit up for the next part. The group stays together while that decision is made.
Anyone taking part needs to be at least 12 years old, and children need an adult with them. The guide will say before a section starts if it is not suitable for someone in your group.
They need to be able to listen to the safety talk and stay with the group. The same briefing applies to adults and to children.
You do not need to have done this before. The guide explains how it works, and what they need from you, before the group sets off.
If it is your first time, say so during that briefing. It is easier to ask while everyone is still together than once you are underway.
You can bring a phone or a camera if it is secure and you can spare a hand. Ask the crew before you attach anything to a helmet, a harness or a handlebar.
If someone is taking photos for the group that day, the crew will say so when you arrive. They will also tell you where to collect them afterwards.
If a ruin, a reserve or a beach asks for a local payment, the guide explains it before you get to the entrance. It helps to have a little cash with you in case that happens.
Tips for the crew are your own choice at the end of the day. The guide is the person to ask if you are not sure what a site is asking for.
Bring a dry bag for a phone and anything else you want to keep dry. Ask the crew when you arrive if there is somewhere to change and leave a bag.
Put your name on anything you set down. The group moves between stops, and bags are easy to mix up.
A phone in a waterproof pouch is the simplest option on a boat or in the water. Ask the crew before you strap a camera to a helmet or a machine.
Drones and flash are often not allowed near wildlife or at the ruins. Follow what the guide and the site ask on the day.
