Over the course of five days, you’ll receive hands-on training, learning how to top rope, lead indoors, and safely follow/second traditional outdoor climbs. Whether you're new to climbing or have limited experience, this course will provide you with the tools to progress and build confidence.
Over the course of five days, you'll start by gaining a solid understanding of climbing equipment, including how to use ropes and carabiners safely. The course will focus on practical skills, first teaching you how to top rope and lead climb indoors, followed by sessions outdoors where you'll learn to follow and second traditional climbs.
Each day is designed to gradually build your confidence and technique. Expert instructors will guide you through each stage of the process, ensuring you develop the necessary skills at your own pace. By the end of the course, you'll be ready to climb with greater independence and safety, with an understanding of how to take on both indoor and outdoor routes.
Snowdonia, North Wales, is known for its amazing landscapes and world-class climbing. The area, also known as Eryri, is home to some of the best traditional climbing routes in the UK.
The beautiful mountains, including iconic spots like Tremadog, provide a fantastic backdrop for climbing and offer a range of challenges for climbers of all levels.
This course is designed for those with little to no climbing experience or those with limited prior experience. A basic level of fitness is helpful, but no previous climbing knowledge is required.
The instructors will provide tailored coaching to ensure each participant develops the necessary skills, regardless of their starting point.
