Leave the crowds behind and experience Ibiza from a completely different perspective on this four-day sea kayaking expedition. Covering roughly half of the island's coastline, you'll paddle through crystal-clear waters, explore remote beaches and spend your evenings immersed in nature. It's the perfect introduction to multi-day kayak adventures while still delivering a real sense of exploration and achievement.
Starting from Es Figueral, you'll meet your guides and prepare for the adventure ahead before loading your equipment into expedition sea kayaks. Designed for longer journeys, these kayaks provide the comfort and storage needed for several days travelling along the coast.
Over the following days, you'll paddle between hidden coves, remote beaches and stretches of coastline that are rarely seen from land. Sea caves, snorkelling opportunities and dramatic coastal scenery feature throughout the route, while regular stops provide time to swim, relax and enjoy the Mediterranean surroundings.
Each evening brings a chance to unwind beside the sea, share stories with the group and enjoy life outdoors before setting off again the next morning. The route is adapted according to weather and sea conditions, allowing the guides to choose the best and safest options while showcasing as much of Ibiza's coastline as possible.
Fringed by turquoise waters and dramatic shoreline, Ibiza offers ideal conditions for expedition kayaking. Travelling by sea allows access to secluded corners of the island that remain untouched by roads and difficult to reach on foot.
Depending on conditions, you'll experience a variety of landscapes, from rugged cliffs and rocky headlands to quiet bays and sheltered beaches. The constantly changing scenery ensures that every day on the water feels different from the last.
Some previous kayaking experience is recommended, as you'll be spending several hours on the water each day. You should be comfortable swimming and capable of taking part in moderate physical activity over consecutive days.
Although this is an adventure expedition, the pace is designed to be achievable for active people who enjoy the outdoors. If you're unsure whether the trip is suitable for your experience level, the team will be happy to advise before booking.
Built as a shorter alternative to the full island expedition, this journey delivers many of the same highlights while requiring less time away. It provides an excellent balance between adventure, exploration and accessibility.
Backed by Lauren and a team of experienced sea kayak guides, every trip benefits from extensive local knowledge, careful planning and a genuine passion for sharing Ibiza's natural coastline. Their expertise allows you to focus on enjoying the journey while they take care of the logistics.
This trip is ideal for adventurous travellers who want more than a day on the water but may not have the time available for the full island expedition. It offers a genuine multi-day kayaking experience while remaining achievable for those with some previous paddling experience.
If you enjoy camping, spending time outdoors and exploring places that most visitors never reach, you'll likely find this adventure extremely rewarding.
The distance covered depends on weather conditions, sea state and the section of coastline being explored. Some days involve longer paddling sections, while others allow more time for exploration and swimming.
The guides plan each day carefully to balance progress with enjoyment, ensuring there's time to appreciate the scenery rather than simply covering distance.
Overnight stops take place in carefully selected coastal locations that allow the group to fully experience life by the sea. Lightweight tarps are provided as part of the expedition equipment.
Sleeping beside the coastline is a highlight for many guests, creating a strong connection to the natural environment and adding to the sense of adventure.
Ibiza's coastline supports a variety of marine and bird life. Depending on the season and location, you may spot fish, seabirds and other wildlife during the journey.
The quieter stretches of coastline often provide excellent opportunities to enjoy nature away from busy beaches and tourist areas.
No previous expedition experience is necessary, although some kayaking experience is recommended. The guides will help you prepare and explain everything you need to know before departure.
Many guests join specifically because they want to try their first multi-day kayak adventure in a supportive environment.
Yes. All meals during the expedition are included, along with tea, coffee and water throughout the trip.
The only exceptions are breakfast on the first day and dinner on the final day, allowing flexibility around your arrival and departure plans.
Absolutely. The route includes plenty of opportunities to stop at beaches, cool off in the sea and enjoy the clear Mediterranean waters.
Swimming breaks often become some of the most memorable moments of the trip, particularly in the more remote coves.
