What is Namibia known for as an adventure destination?

Epic desert adventure — hiking and sandboarding the dunes of Sossusvlei, fat-biking and 4x4 expeditions across the Namib, trekking the vast Fish River Canyon, and surfing the wild Atlantic coast.

When is the best time of year to visit Namibia?

The cooler, dry months (roughly May to October) are the most comfortable for desert hiking and expeditions, with clear skies and mild days; the desert nights are cold, so pack warm layers.
