SUP White Water Coach is for coaches who teach stand-up paddleboarding on moving water: grade 1 to moderate white water where boards, leashes and river features demand a different toolkit from lake coaching. You build on the Coach Award pathway with discipline-specific training and a formal assessment watching you coach real learners on the river.
The river wins arguments about line choice. Listen early. Coaching someone through their first eddy catch on a SUP is harder than making the move yourself. That is the point of assessor days on moving water.
Personal white water SUP competence, first aid, safeguarding and Paddle UK membership must be current before assessment. Leave a comment when you book with rivers coached and typical grades you work on.
SUP White Water Coach assessment includes practical coaching on moving water and a professional discussion with a Paddle UK assessor.
