Seamus is a professional bodyboarder, experienced coach, and passionate advocate for surfing on Ireland’s west coast. Growing up under Knocknarea in Strandhill, Seamus began bodyboarding at the age of ten and went on to represent Ireland in European and World Championships, eventually becoming the first bodyboarder to tow into Mullaghmore Head. With over 20 years of experience in the ocean, his career has spanned competition, coaching, big wave exploration, and environmental activism.
Today, Seamus shares his knowledge through surf and bodyboard lessons, summer camps, and environmental education in Strandhill. His sessions are welcoming, safe, and rooted in a deep respect for the sea, aiming to build confidence and ocean awareness in every participant.
