The operation was founded in 2011 by Phil, a lifelong cyclist and former secondary school teacher, who wanted to share Liverpool’s history, culture and hidden corners in a more engaging, sustainable way. What began with standard bikes quickly evolved; by 2018 the move to e-bikes made guided rides accessible to almost everyone, regardless of fitness or experience. The shift to a full fleet of Bosch-powered Raleigh Motus e-bikes transformed the tours, allowing groups to cover more ground comfortably and enjoyably.
Today, all tours run exclusively on e-bikes with a minimum age of 14, keeping things fun, inclusive and fully aligned with their commitment to zero-emission tourism. Solar-powered charging, no fossil fuel use, and a focus on environmentally responsible travel sit at the heart of the offering.
Phil leads with deep local knowledge, decades of teaching experience, Cytech mechanical qualifications and a genuine passion for showcasing Liverpool. His background in guiding, education and design technology shapes tours that are informative, relaxed and full of character.
