It all started back in 1990 when Simon, a passionate dive instructor, stumbled upon the irresistible beauty of Gili Trawangan. Over the years, as travelers looked for an alternative to bustling Bali, they discovered the Gili islands' sandy beaches, lively nightlife, and vibrant coral reefs—and we grew right along with that buzz!
Fast-forward to today, and we're thrilled to offer everything from beginner courses to instructor-level and technical diving education across Indonesia and this centre in Hampshire, UK. In fact, technical diving is a passion close to Simon's heart, and he continues to teach some of our most advanced courses.
Simon and our seasoned team have put us on the map—quite literally! They've discovered iconic dive sites like the Japanese World War II Wreck, Tunang Wall, and even named one after Simon himself. After exploring Komodo for over 15 years, we've also unearthed hidden gems within the national park.
And if you're into breaking boundaries, you're in good company! Simon holds the record for the deepest dive on an unmodified closed-circuit rebreather, while our senior instructor, Will, has set two world records himself. For the women who dare, meet Theresia, one of only two female technical diving instructors in Southeast Asia qualified for advanced courses.
