Wengen provides the starting point, where a short introduction sets the plan for the route before heading out onto mountain paths above the village. Early sections offer open views across the Lauterbrunnen Valley, with a gradual climb that eases into the pace of the hike.
Moving further along, alpine meadows and quieter trails take over, with wide sightlines towards the Jungfrau, Mönch and the north face of the Eiger. The route blends steady uphill sections with more relaxed stretches, allowing time for photos and short breaks without feeling rushed.
Kleine Scheidegg marks the end of the hike, sitting directly beneath the Eiger with panoramic views in multiple directions. Time can be spent here enjoying the setting or stopping for refreshments before taking the train back down.
