Once comfortable, the group will paddle along the coastline, moving at a pace suitable for everyone. This part of the session focuses on enjoying the natural surroundings and spotting wildlife, including seals resting on the rocks, jellyfish beneath the surface, sea birds flying overhead, and with luck, dolphins or porpoise swimming nearby. Your instructor will share insights about the local environment and help you improve your paddling skills throughout the outing.
The session ends with a return to the harbour, where there will be time to ask questions and receive tips on how to continue paddling safely on your own or with friends. Wetsuit, board, buoyancy aid, and instruction are all included, making this a straightforward way to try paddleboarding for the first time or refresh your skills.

The team has extensive experience in water sports, led by an instructor with over ten years in teaching kayaking, windsurfing, and surfing. This strong background ensures safety and confidence-building throughout the session. All instructors are qualified and hold current first aid certificates.

It’s best to wear swimwear or clothes that can get wet, such as a rash vest or shorts. Trainers or water shoes are recommended to protect your feet when getting on and off the board and walking around the harbour. Avoid heavy cotton clothing, as it can become uncomfortable when wet.
A wetsuit is provided to keep you warm, but you may want to bring a towel and a change of dry clothes for after the session. On sunnier days, it’s also a good idea to apply waterproof sunscreen and bring a hat or sunglasses for protection.
