Spend four hours on the shores of Ullswater with wood-fired sauna, stand-up paddleboarding, guided breathwork and a shared picnic. The day mixes adventure movement with heat, cold water and quiet time in the Lake District.
Start with lakeside wood-fired sauna time, moving between heat, cool air and wild water at your own pace. Guided breathwork and meditation help you settle into the landscape before you paddle out on Ullswater.
On the water you explore quieter edges of the lake, with an optional rock jump for anyone who wants it. The day finishes with a picnic-style spread shared beside the water. All important session details travel with your ticket email.
Ullswater is one of the Lake District's best-loved lakes, with open shoreline views and mountain backdrops. Meeting at Ullswater Steamers keeps arrival simple for most guests driving into the valley.
Wear footwear you are happy to get wet for shoreline sections, and bring layers for changeable fell weather.
Marked moderate and tagged Beginner and Improver, so first-timers who are comfortable outdoors are welcome, as well as people with a little more water confidence. Expect a more active day than a short sauna session.
Share any relevant health considerations before entering the heat or the lake. The rock jump is optional.
The day combines several outdoor practices in one setting rather than sending you between separate activities. Groups stay small so coaching and timing remain personal.
Aaron and the team host nature-based adventure wellness days with clear ticket notes and practical kit guidance, so you know how to arrive prepared.
Gather at Ullswater Steamers Car Park for a short welcome and safety briefing. This is where the group meets before walking to the lakeside base for the day.
Arrive a little early so parking and kit checks feel unhurried before the 10am start.
Settle into the lakeside wood-fired sauna and move between heat, cool air and wild water at your own pace. The contrast reset is a calm opener rather than a rushed circuit.
Guides stay nearby if you want advice on how long to stay in the heat or how to enter the water safely.
Join a guided breathwork and meditation practice to slow down and settle into the landscape. The focus is simple breathing and presence beside the lake rather than a technical yoga class.
Bring a mat or something to sit on so you can stay comfortable on the ground.
Paddle on Ullswater with the group, then explore quieter shoreline edges. Stand-up paddleboarding gives you a different view of the lake and mountains from the water.
A rock jump is available for anyone who wants it and is completely optional. There is no expectation to jump if you prefer to stay on the board or shoreline.
Refuel with a picnic-style spread shared beside the water. Expect fresh salads, potato salad and a rustic selection of meats, cheeses and grazing foods to restore energy after the activities.
This is a relaxed end to the day rather than a formal sit-down meal, so bring your water bottle and any personal snacks you still want.

The day is marked moderate. You should be comfortable outdoors for several hours, happy around open water, and able to take part in light paddleboarding with guidance.
No spa-style fitness programme is required, but it is more active than a one-hour sauna session alone.
Swimwear, towel, warm layers, flip flops or sandals, water bottle, a yoga mat or something to sit on, suncream or hat depending on the forecast, and comfortable outdoor clothing.
Bring a wetsuit if you have one. If you do not, wetsuits are available to rent on the day so you can still enjoy the water comfortably.
Outdoor days can be affected by extreme weather. Where conditions make it unsafe to run, the day may be postponed and rollover credit offered rather than a cash refund, in line with the stated terms.
You will be contacted if plans change. Always check your confirmation email before setting off.
No. The rock jump is completely optional. Many guests enjoy exploring the shoreline without jumping, and you can sit that part out with no pressure.
Speak to the guides on the day if you are unsure, and choose what feels right for your confidence in the water.
For Adventuro bookings, cancellations follow the Strict policy: full refund if you cancel at least 30 days before the booking, 50% between 14 and 30 days, and the full amount thereafter.
Partner terms may also describe rollover credit when a session is postponed for extreme weather. Read both your Adventuro booking terms and the confirmation email.

About the centre
Penrith
Led by Aaron, a qualified breathwork guide, coach, and facilitator in meditation and nature therapy, the work focuses on helping people reconnect more deeply with themselves and with the outdoors. Practices draw on yoga, breathwork, meditation, wild saunas, cold water dips, and time in nature, offering grounded ways to regulate the nervous system and find calm.
Sessions and events are shaped around conscious living as something practical and accessible, whether someone is feeling burnt out, a little lost, or simply wants to feel more grounded and present. The aim is to create welcoming space in wild and beautiful places for community, clarity, and a reset that lasts beyond the day itself.
