Dive into the vibrant underwater world of the Scottish coastline with our snorkelling session. Perfect for adventure seekers, this activity lets you experience the rich marine biodiversity of the West Coast, guided by qualified and experienced professionals.
Your experience begins by meeting your guide at one of our carefully selected snorkelling venues. After a warm welcome and introduction to the activity, you'll be equipped with a wetsuit, fins, snorkel, mask, and a changing towel. A comprehensive safety briefing tailored to the venue will ensure everyone is prepared and comfortable.
Once everyone is suited up, a short walk will lead you to the water's edge. As you enter the marine world, you'll be guided through kelp forests and past bustling barnacle cities, discovering anemones and a multitude of other fascinating sea creatures. Throughout the session, your guide will assist in identifying wildlife and offer tips to enhance your snorkelling experience.
After exploring, you'll head back to the transport for a chance to change into dry clothes, enjoy a snack, and warm up with a hot drink. This is a perfect time to share your experiences and favourite sightings with your fellow snorkellers.
Our snorkelling sessions take place at various beautiful locations across Lochaber, all easily accessible from our base in Fort William. The diverse and rich waters of the West Coast provide the ideal setting for this adventure.
The meeting point is usually the West End Car Park in Fort William, PH33 6ED.
Participants should bring a pair of swim shorts or a swimsuit, old trainers with laces that can get wet, and warm clothes for after the activity.
Being confident in the water is preferred, though you don't need to be an experienced swimmer to enjoy snorkelling with us.

While it won’t be tropical, our high-quality wetsuits ensure you stay warm throughout the activity.
We offer transport in our comfortable 9-seater Ford Tourneo Hybrid. Reducing the number of cars on the road helps lower emissions, so we encourage you to ride with us.

You don’t actually need to swim to take part in our snorkeling sessions but being confident floating in water is preferred.
