Enjoy a full day of adventure in one of the UK's premier sea kayaking destinations. Our experienced guides will lead you on an unforgettable exploration of rocky headlands, spectacular cliffs, and islands teeming with wildlife. You'll have the opportunity to discover secret coves with golden sand beaches, perfect for a relaxing picnic. With no experience required, individuals, groups, and families are all welcome to join us for this ultimate coastal exploration.
Your day begins with a warm welcome and a brief orientation. You'll get kitted up and learn the basics of using the sea kayaks. Once everyone is ready, we'll paddle out to explore the beautiful coast and estuary for about two and a half hours. Along the way, you'll have the chance to spot seals, explore sea caves, and take in the scenery from a unique vantage point.
After a morning of paddling, we'll stop at a secluded beach for lunch. Here, you can relax, go for a swim in the clear waters, and even roast marshmallows on a driftwood fire. This one and a half hour break is the perfect time to recharge and enjoy the peaceful environment.
In the afternoon, we'll paddle back to Dartmouth, spending another two and a half hours on the water. The journey back is just as exciting, offering more opportunities to see wildlife and explore hidden gems along the coast. Throughout the trip, your guide will ensure you have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience.
The adventure takes place along the beautiful coast of Dartmouth, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our kayaks allow us to get close to the shore, accessing areas that other boats can't reach. This offers a unique perspective and an intimate experience with the natural surroundings.
Participants need no prior kayaking experience. The activity is suitable for individuals, groups, and families with children aged 12 and over. You should be comfortable in the water and have a moderate level of fitness.
We provide guided sea kayak trips and skills courses for all abilities, based in the scenic town of Dartmouth. Founded in 2011, our centre has grown to include a team of over 15 top coaches and a selection of more than 40 sea kayaks.

No, you don't need any prior experience. Our guides will provide comprehensive instruction on kayaking techniques and safety procedures before we set off.
You should bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses), and any personal snacks or drinks you may want for the day. Please bring a packed lunch for the lunch stop.
We recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing.
We closely monitor weather conditions to ensure safety. If the weather is unsuitable for kayaking, we will either reschedule your trip or offer a full refund.
Yes, children aged 12 and over are welcome to join the trip. We have large double kayaks available for younger participants or those who may feel apprehensive.
We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your spot, especially during peak seasons. Booking in advance ensures you get your preferred date and time for the trip.

YES! Pretty much everyone who gets into one of our Sea Kayaks is amazed at how easy it is. They are stable and they all have a retractable fin at the back so they track naturally in a straight line.
Even the least fit will glide along faster than walking speed with about the same amount of effort as riding a bike on the flat. Our super stable double kayaks also have a rudder at the back to make steering even easier.
We keep our group sizes small with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 people per instructor. If you are a larger group or 2 families who want to kayak together, that is no problem at all; you will simply have multiple instructors looking after you on the water.

We had a great time. The instructor made us feel constantly reassured that we were in good hands. He was also really knowledgeable about the area and able to introduce us to great opportunities to explore various caves and coves during our training.
