Monaco

Monaco is a compact Mediterranean microstate defined by steep coastal terrain and immediate access to open sea. Urban terraces rise sharply from the shoreline, creating short but intense elevation changes within a small geographic area. While land space is limited, the surrounding waters provide strong conditions for sailing, yacht training and open-water activity. Its Mediterranean climate brings warm, dry summers and mild winters, allowing year-round coastal training. Monaco is best suited to sailing, offshore racing, open-water swimming and short, high-gradient road cycling, with additional access to more extensive terrain just beyond its borders along the French Riviera.
