Jamaica

Jamaica combines coral reef coastline, steep interior mountains and river-cut rainforest valleys within a compact Caribbean island setting. The Blue Mountains rise sharply above 2,000 metres, creating cooler highland conditions suitable for trekking and sustained climbs, while lower elevations are warm and humid year-round. The north and west coasts are reef-backed with generally calm Caribbean water, supporting snorkelling, diving, sailing and paddleboarding. The south coast is drier and less developed, with mangroves and open beaches suited to kayaking and wildlife-focused travel.
