Brazil
Brazil spans equatorial rainforest, tropical coastline, highland plateaus and extensive wetlands across a broad range of climates. The Amazon Basin dominates the north with dense jungle and vast river systems, while the Atlantic coastline stretches for thousands of kilometres with warm water and reliable swell. The northeast is shaped by wind-exposed beaches, dunes and reefs, supporting surfing, kitesurfing and diving. The southeast combines granite peaks, forested mountains and major urban centres, creating strong conditions for rock climbing, ridge trekking, mountain biking and paragliding. In the south, cooler subtropical landscapes introduce canyons, rolling plains and seasonal variation. The central-west includes savannah plateau and the Pantanal wetlands, known for wildlife travel and canoe-based exploration. Brazil is particularly suited to water-based adventure, wildlife journeys and mixed terrain trekking, with climate and geography allowing outdoor travel throughout the year when planned by region and season.
