Hello! I'm Daniel, your e-tour guide.
My story started on the small island of Papa Westray, which is one of the smaller inhabited islands in Orkney.
Papa Westray (locally known as Papay) is only around 4.5 miles long and 1 mile wide, and is home to around 80 people.
I spent all of my childhood on the island but ended up travelling by boat to neighbouring island of Westray and then onto Kirkwall to continue my schooling.
After 4 years away at university on the Scottish mainland, I followed my ambition moving back home to Orkney to start my working career.
I’ve now been home for 4 years and absolutely love living in such a remote and community-driven place.
In 2024, I decided I wanted to show you all the natural beauty and rich history of the place I call home – and so I began developing my electric bicycle tour.
