## FAQs

### What kind of bike will I be riding on the tour?

You’ll be riding a Temple Cycles bike—hand-built right here in Bristol. These bikes are lightweight, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. They feature a 9-speed derailleur to handle any small hills we encounter and are built around a Reynolds steel frame that provides a smooth, stable ride.

### Do I need to be an experienced cyclist to join the tour?

Not at all. The tour is designed for all ability levels and sticks to flat, traffic-free paths and quiet roads. There are no steep climbs, and your guide will keep a relaxed pace with plenty of stops to take in the sights and snap a few photos.

### What should I wear and bring with me?

Wear comfortable clothing suitable for the weather. Trainers or flat-soled shoes are best for pedalling. We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle and perhaps a light jacket if the weather looks changeable. Helmets are included, but you're welcome to bring your own.

### Are children allowed on the tour?

Yes, children aged 12 and over are welcome, provided they are over 150cm tall and confident riding a bike. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We currently do not offer child seats or tag-alongs for younger riders.

### What happens if it rains?

The tour runs in light rain, so please dress appropriately. In the case of extreme weather that makes cycling unsafe, we’ll contact you as early as possible to discuss rescheduling or refund options.

### Is the route accessible for people with mobility issues or special requirements?

The route is mostly flat and smooth, but it does include some cobbled sections and narrow paths that may not be suitable for all riders. If you have specific concerns, feel free to message us via the adventuro chat before booking.

### Where does the tour start and end?

The tour starts and finishes at our bike hub, located behind the Watershed Cinema at 1 Canon's Rd, Bristol BS1 5UH. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to get set up with your bike and helmet.

### Can I book a private version of the tour?

Yes, private tours are available and can be tailored to your group’s interests—whether it’s food, architecture, history or a relaxed city ride. These are great for families, couples, school groups or corporate events looking for a more personal experience. To arrange a private tour, please message us directly via the adventuro chat below.
