## FAQs

### Do you have any more beginner-friendly rafting options?

Absolutely! Check out our Rafting the River Tay experience at the bottom of this page, taking in mostly Grade 2 rapids. It's perfect for the family (ages 8+) and ideal for beginners.

### What time should we arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes before the activity to get signed in.

### What should I wear?

Please wear a swimsuit for under your wetsuit, old trainers that will get wet, and bring a towel for changing. We recommend a fleece, gloves and hat in cold weather. Don’t forget to bring some warm clothes for after the trip.

### Will it still run in bad weather?

Generally, all activities run in all weather conditions but if for any reason the activity cannot run due to adverse weather conditions we will be in contact to either rearrange or offer an alternative.

### How do rapid gradings work in white water rafting?

Rapids are graded from 1 to 6, with 1 being the easiest and 6 being the most challenging. The higher the grade, the tougher the rapid.

### How old do I need to be to take part?

The minimum age for our River Tummel rafting is 16 years. For families with younger children, perhaps consider our River Tay rafting below, suitable for ages 8+.
