This private excursion includes guiding and van transport for up to six guests, with the day shaped around your pace rather than a fixed bus timetable. 📌 Key Details Duration: About 5 hours including transfers from Helsinki Group size: Up to 6 guests in the van; price includes 2 guests Minimum age: 18 years Difficulty: Moderate forest walking Languages: English and Finnish 🌲 What to Expect North from Helsinki we drive toward Hyvinkää for a guided walk on forest paths through the Sveitsi landscape. Along the way your guide shares local ecology and how Finns hike and forage in these woods, at a pace that leaves room for questions and photo stops. Routes flex between a gentler loop and a slightly longer stretch between viewpoints depending on fitness and daylight. Your guide checks in often so no one is left behind on uneven ground. 📍 Location Sveitsi offers mature conifer forest and glacial landforms that feel remote while staying within a manageable drive from Helsinki. It suits guests who want “deeper Finland” without an overnight trip or a very early start from the capital. Wildlife sign, berries and fungi appear through the seasons, and your guide helps you read tracks and plants along the path. We keep the tone conversational unless you ask for a deeper ecology focus on a particular section of the walk. ✅ Prerequisites Comfort walking on forest paths with roots and small hills for several hours is the main requirement. No specialist skills are needed beyond sensible footwear. Share knee, hip or balance concerns when you enquire, and we can favour flatter esker sections or shorten the loop while keeping the wilderness atmosphere. Sensible footwear with ankle support makes a noticeable difference on rooty forest paths after wet weather. ⭐ Why Choose Us We run these Hyvinkää days regularly, so driving routes, parking spots and trail combinations are tried in real conditions rather than copied from a brochure. That local rhythm helps on windy or rainy mornings when a backup loop is the better call for comfort and safety. Because the excursion is private, we can emphasise slow nature observation, a brisker fitness walk or extra time on a scenic esker. Your message when booking steers the tone, and your guide checks in on the trail so the plan still fits how the group feels by midday. ### Essential information _None._ ### What’s included Private guide for your group Transport in a six-seat van from Helsinki and return Guided outdoor experience tailored to your pace English and Finnish guiding ### What’s not included Personal outdoor clothing and footwear Travel insurance (you need your own leisure cover) Food and drinks unless agreed separately Transport to and from the meeting point if you are not using the included pickup ### Kit list Waterproof jacket and warm layers Sturdy walking shoes suitable for soft or wet ground Small day pack, water and snacks Seasonal hat and gloves in colder months ## FAQs _No FAQs in catalog._ ## Media - **Primary image URL (resolved in app; may be absolute)**: https://adventuro.com/cdn-cgi/image/width=1200,format=auto,quality=90/https://wp.adventuro.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/robbing-hood-or-who_orig-5.jpg - **Gallery image count**: 5 ## Limitations - Availability, exact session times, and final price may depend on the live booking flow. - This Markdown is generated from the same catalog fields as the public HTML page at the canonical URL above.
