As a responsible and ethical adventure company we are committed to the wild and natural environment we work in. We strive to put the planet first in everything we do. This is of course a dynamic process and we are always striving to minimise our impact in, educate our clients on and improve our contribution towards, our natural environment. We align as partners with adventuro, who are a net-zero company from day-one, partnering with Rewilding Britain to protect our playground.

### What is the difference between the FAW+F and EFAW+F courses?

The 3-day FAW+F (First Aid at Work + Forestry) course is designed for outdoor professionals working in high-risk environments and covers a broader range of first aid techniques, including advanced skills for specific emergencies. It's suitable for those whose roles require a comprehensive, 16-hour first aid course. The 1-day EFAW+F (Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry) course, on the other hand, is tailored for outdoor enthusiasts or professionals in lower-risk settings, focusing on fundamental first aid skills. Both courses include the '+F' element, which adds an outdoor-specific dimension to the training.

### Are there any specific prerequisites to join?

The main prerequisite for both First Aid + F courses is that participants must be at least 18 years old. No prior first aid experience is required, making the courses suitable for both beginners and those looking to refresh their skills. A general interest in outdoor activities and a commitment to learning how to manage emergencies effectively are also important for participants.

### Can you deliver this course to groups at our own base?

Yes, in addition to hosting courses at our base in East Lothian, we offer the flexibility to deliver first aid training at your location. This option is ideal for organisations looking to train a group of first aiders on-site. The courses can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your team, providing a convenient and efficient way to ensure your staff are well-prepared for first-aid emergencies. To arrange for an instructor to come to your location, please get in touch via the live chat on adventuro. The team will help to set this up.
