After reaching new heights on the rock face, it's time for one of the biggest moments of the day as you tackle a substantial abseil. Under the guidance of your instructor, you'll descend from above and enjoy a completely different perspective of the surrounding landscape. For the final stage of the adventure, you'll either take to the water or continue the action on land. Depending on the chosen option and conditions, you may paddle along a winding river before reaching Derwent Water and visiting some of its islands, or head to one of the area's most entertaining ghyll scrambling routes, where natural slides, flowing water and rocky obstacles provide a fun finish to the day. Paddle down the stunning River Derwent, pulling in to take on an a rock climb and massive abseil challenge, before jumping back into the canoes ( or SUP’s) calling at one of the islands for a bushcraft lunch.
