It's more challenging than coasteering in Croyde, but less challenging than the Hele Bay Adrenaline Adventure. No, our low tide coasteering adventure is suitable for beginners and seasoned adventurers alike, with no prior experience necessary. ### What should I wear? We recommend bringing old trainers, swimwear to wear under your wetsuit, and a towel for after the session. ### Are there age restrictions? Participants must be aged 8 or above to join the adventure. ### How long is the session? The coasteering experience lasts approximately 2 hours, with a total duration of around 2.5 hours from arrival to departure. ### Are there options for less confident swimmers? Yes, this adventure offers shorter swims and jumps, making it ideal for those who may be less confident in the water. ### What happens if the weather is bad on the day? We will liaise with you to rearrange your session date or location. In the unlikely event that conditions become too bad to run on the day of session a full refund will be issued. All of our meeting points are in stunning North Devon beauty spots and have a good choice of food and drink options within walking distance although we do recommend you bring water and snacks for before/after your session. ### Do I have to join in with my kids? No, we do not require that you accompany under 18s on our activities but you must be able to sign a participation form on their behalf prior to the session. We do suggest you accompany under 14 year olds for the sake of their enjoyment. ### How do you make sure it is safe? We put safety first every time. We are: Fully AALA licensed and Insured NVBLQ Beach Lifeguard qualified Trained in location specific coasteering techniques Experienced, professional, encouraging and supportive National Coasteering Charter members ### Where should I park, and how much will it cost? We will meet you in the car park in your chosen session location. All the information you need including the address is provided in the confirmation email upon booking with a link to google maps. Bring some spare change for the car parks – they range from £2 to £8. ### Are there toilets/changing facilities? As we meet you at the session location we do not provide changing facilities or toilets but we can promise that within walking distance of all our meeting points there are public toilets and some provide beach showers.
