The Firth of Clyde and Connected Sea Lochs Over 50 sites accessible from the shoreline, suitable for all levels. These include: 13 Mile Reef: Beautiful wall dive from 22m down to beyond 50m (we are still exploring this site). Lots of sea life including the Fireworks Anemone. 29 Steps: Critter hunting site with a platform for skills and various oases of life on a muddy shore. Mostly dived to 18m unless looking for Langoustine. A Frames: The remains of an old pier that has created an artificial reef with structures down to 30m. Some rise like monoliths from the sea bed. Anchor Point: A great dive site to explore with a two-pronged rocky reef extending from 5m down to 26m. Provides a great introduction to tidal diving. Camp Crab: Big muddy slope with rocky reefs on either side down to a desired depth. Down to 30m there are lots of Shore Crabs and Squat Lobsters. Carrick Castle: A shallow mud flat dive full of rocky outcrops of life and plenty of langoustines. Great for the newly qualified diver with depths to 12m.
