All lessons take place at Watergate Bay beach, just a minute’s drive from the surf school’s HQ in Newquay Bay Resort and around 10 minutes from Newquay town centre. If conditions require a location change, the team will provide plenty of notice. ### What time should participants arrive? It is recommended to arrive at the surf school 30 minutes before the lesson starts to allow time to change into a wetsuit. During weekends, school holidays, and sunny days, extra time should be allowed for traffic and parking. ### Is parking available at Watergate Bay? Yes, there are several parking options. The surf school is located on The Green, opposite Wax Beach Bar and next to the Council Car Park—Just Park Wallet may offer parking savings.
