## FAQs

### What is the accommodation on night 2?

Accommodation is not included on the second night. After the day's acclimatization climb, you'll descend to Chamonix, where you will need to arrange your own lodging. There are plenty of options available, from hotels to hostels, so you can choose what best suits your needs. Let us know if you need recommendations.

### What level of fitness do I need for this trip?

You should have a high level of fitness, as the climb requires sustained effort over multiple days at high altitude. Expect long days of hiking and climbing with significant elevation gain. Cardiovascular endurance, leg strength, and good overall conditioning are essential. Training beforehand with long hikes carrying a loaded backpack, stair climbing, and endurance exercises will be beneficial.

### Do I need previous mountaineering experience?

While prior mountaineering experience is not strictly required, it is highly recommended. You should be comfortable hiking on steep terrain for long hours, using crampons, and handling basic climbing equipment. If you’re new to mountaineering, we strongly recommend training on similar terrain before attempting this climb.

### What equipment do I need to bring?

You will need technical mountaineering gear, including crampons, an ice axe, a climbing harness, and a helmet. In addition, you’ll need appropriate clothing for alpine conditions, such as insulated layers, waterproof gear, gloves, and a high-quality sleeping bag for the mountain refuge. A full kit list will be provided upon booking, and rental options are available for most items.

### What is the accommodation like?

On the first night, you will stay in a mountain refuge, which provides dormitory-style bunk beds, blankets, and simple facilities. Meals are included at the refuge. On the second night, you will return to Chamonix, where you will need to arrange your own accommodation. There are many options available, ranging from budget-friendly hostels to high-end hotels.
