## FAQs

### Can you pick me up and drop me off?

Yes, we can provide a pick-up and drop-off service from select locations. This service costs £50 and is available from areas close to Llanberis, Caernarfon, Pwllheli, Abersoch, Nefyn, Porthmadog, Beddgelert, and Blaenau Ffestiniog. Pick-up is usually at 09:30, with drop-off at around 16:30. Unfortunately, we can’t collect from anywhere in North Wales—only from the areas listed.

### What fitness level do I need for these adventures?

Each activity varies in difficulty, but a moderate level of fitness is recommended for all. Hikes involve uneven terrain and ascents, while scrambling requires some upper body strength and confidence on rocky ground. Wild swimming locations often require a short hike to access, and you should feel comfortable in open water. If you're unsure about your ability, get in touch to discuss the best option for you.

### What should I bring with me?

For hiking and scrambling, sturdy walking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, and a small backpack with water and snacks are essential. Wild swimming requires a swimsuit, towel, and any personal swim kit like wetsuits, neoprene socks, or gloves. A warm change of clothes and a flask of hot drink are highly recommended. A full kit list will be provided upon booking.

### Will the adventure still go ahead in bad weather?

Yes, activities run in most weather conditions. However, safety is always the priority, and if conditions become unsafe due to storms, extreme winds, or flooding, the route may be adjusted, or the activity rescheduled. If cancellation is necessary, you will be notified as early as possible.

### Can children join these adventures?

Yes, children aged 8 and over can participate, but they must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Some activities, such as scrambling or longer mountain days, may not be suitable for younger participants, so it’s best to check beforehand.

### Do I need previous experience for wild swimming or scrambling?

No prior experience is needed, but for wild swimming, you should be confident in open water. Your guide will provide coaching and safety advice before entering the water. For scrambling, a good level of fitness and confidence on rough terrain is recommended. If you’re new to either activity, your guide will tailor the experience to your ability.

### How long does each adventure last?

Most adventures last a full day, typically around 6–8 hours, including breaks and travel between locations if necessary. The exact duration depends on the chosen route, group pace, and weather conditions.
