More importantly they are great coaches who understand people and can tailor the course to your individual needs. We won’t be teaching a group of students but working with the individuals in a group setting. We will work to create a supportive environment where you are encouraged to try new things where failure is accepted and celebrated. We also aim to capture that perfect boof picture for you to keep. When suitable, we also employ video analysis to enhance your performance, ensuring availability of this material post-course. Improvement of performance in the extremely dynamic white water environment is not a quick fix. At the end of every course we will spend time helping you create an action plan for improvement. We will also record enough information to make your next coaching session better. Location: On the course we will use two different rivers which could be: River Eden from Lazonby to Armathwaite often provides high volume training opportunities. River Lune can give technical precise options. River Leven gives classic grade 2/3 white water in the upper section with the lower providing a stiffer challenge. The River Irthing and Keswick Greta give continuous white water for the right group at the right level. We would like you to bring: A canoe that is appropriately outfitted for white water. Appropriate personal clothing for the weather. Personal protective equipment. If you do not have any piece of equipment, make a booking request so we can discuss options!
