Our routes take us through some of the most scenic trails in Chamonix, passing alpine lakes, glaciers, and stunning mountain ridges. Some hikes will start with a lift to help us gain elevation, while others will involve a steady climb from the valley floor. A highlight of the trip is a visit to Lac Blanc , one of the most famous lakes in the Alps, offering panoramic views of Mont Blanc and its surrounding peaks. We’ll also explore the Grand Balcon Sud , a gorgeous traverse along the valley, and hike into the Aiguilles Rouges Nature Reserve , home to incredible wildlife and rugged mountain landscapes. One of the most memorable moments will be taking the Aiguille du Midi cable car to 3,800m, where you’ll step out into a world of ice and rock with unbeatable views over the Mont Blanc massif. From here, we’ll have the option to take a high-altitude hike before descending back to the valley. Along the way, we’ll stop at traditional alpine refuges , where you can enjoy a hot drink with a view, and we’ll have mountain picnics in remote, peaceful locations. One day is set aside as a rest day , giving you the chance to explore Chamonix at your own pace, visit local cafés, or take a short self-guided walk. Each evening, we’ll return to our chalet, where you can relax and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner with the group. On some evenings, we’ll dine on the terrace, taking in the views as the sun sets over the peaks.
