## FAQs

### Can I reschedule?

Requests to reschedule must be sent at least 24 hours before the course. Intro & Bespoke Courses: We'll offer all available dates for rescheduling. Open Courses: We'll offer any free spaces on other Open Courses. Availability is not guaranteed, especially during peak summer periods, but we will try to accommodate your request. Please note that rescheduling is permitted only once. If you do not attend on the rescheduled date, you will not be eligible for a refund.

### Where will my course be held, and what if it rains?

Courses are planned with weather flexibility in mind, as mountain conditions can vary. Be prepared for wet, windy, or colder conditions. We may change locations to nearby areas based on forecasts. For instance, a course set for the Lake District might be relocated from Langdale to Duddon Valley (under 30 minutes away) if it offers better conditions. If no venue is suitable due to the weather, we’ll cancel and offer new dates or a 100% refund.

### Can under-18s book?

Under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the activity. For children aged 17 and below, please contact us via the adventuro chat below before booking to confirm suitability for your planned activity.

### Who is this course suitable for?

This course is designed for competent trad climbers who are looking to advance their skillset with essential self-rescue techniques. Participants should have experience in placing traditional climbing gear and building anchors with slings or ropes. ### What equipment do I need to bring?

You will need to bring your own personal climbing equipment, including harness, helmet, climbing shoes, and any additional gear you'd typically use for trad climbing. All necessary ropes and rescue-specific gear will be provided. If you’re unsure about specific items, please contact us to confirm.

### Is accommodation provided or available nearby?

Accommodation is not included in the course fee. However, there are a variety of options available near both the indoor venues (KendalWall or PrestonWall) and the outdoor crag location in Lancashire.
