### How fit do I need to be to join do this trip?

This trip is designed for runners with experience in the mountains running and time spent in remote environments. We run this 2 day adventure for those that wish to try something new and take their skills and endurance into new territory. See below for more insight to what this could look like.

### What should I bring with me?

You should bring suitable running clothing, including layers for varying weather conditions, trail running shoes with good grip, a waterproof jacket, a 10L hydration pack, and personal items like sunscreen, a hat, a headlamp, and any personal medications. A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking.

### What kind of running experience do I need to join?

Participants should have substantial experience in mountain running or long-distance trail running. Familiarity with running on varied and challenging terrains. This could look like having been on a multi day hiking trip spending 8 hours on your feet, ran in a mountain or trail race covering 30km+ or maybe you live in the city but running is key part of life and going out for 2 hour ~ urban runs is part of your week.

### How many people will be in the group?

We aim to keep our groups small to ensure a personalised experience. The maximum group size is typically around 4-5 participants, but we can accommodate larger groups upon request. If you are a solo runner we will try and match you up to another booking, but we can also run this as a solo adventure!

### Where will we stay overnight?

### What if the weather is bad?

We carefully plan our trips to align with the best weather windows. However, mountain weather can be unpredictable. Our guides are experienced in making safe and enjoyable adjustments to the itinerary if needed. Routes will designed with the forecast at the front of the decision, if the weather is considered dangerous to be on tops, we will switch to the bad weather route, which stays lower, but embodies all the challenge of its sky high counterpart.

We offer an optional pick-up service from Fort William, which is where our trip will begin. Please let us know if you require this service when you book, and we will arrange the details.

### What kind of support is provided during the trip?

Our experienced Mountain Leader Guides will be with you throughout the trip, offering support, guidance, and encouragement. They are trained in first aid and equipped to handle any emergencies, ensuring your safety and well-being.
