Nights nine to eleven are in Marrakech at La Maison Arabe Hotel, then Essaouira and Casablanca. The named hotels are Sofitel Rabat Jardins des Roses, Dar Chams Tanja, Dar Echchaouen, Palais Faraj Suites and Spa, Hotel Xaluca Maadid Arfoud, Sahara Stars Camp and Hotel Xaluca Boumalene Dades. Properties can change with availability, and the team confirms the final list at booking.

### How long are the drives?

The shorter drives are the airport to Rabat (about an hour), Rabat to Tangier and Tangier to Chefchaouen (about two hours each), and Marrakech to Essaouira (about two and a half hours). The longest are Day 6 from Fes to Erfoud at about six and a half hours, Day 9 from Dades Gorge to Marrakech and Day 13 from Essaouira to Casablanca at about five hours each, and Days 4 and 8 at about four hours each. Stops are built into the longer days.

### Which meals are included?

The Hassan II Mosque interior and the Ait Ben Haddou kasbah are guided visits with entrance fees included.

### How many people can join?

The tour is limited to 14 guests, and you travel in a private SUV. Larger parties should ask how the vehicles are arranged, as the plan describes a single SUV. The price is based on two guests sharing a room. If you need a different arrangement, ask the team when you enquire.

### What does the Sahara night involve?

On Day 7 you drive about an hour to Merzouga, visit Rissani, the ruins of Ksar Abbar and the village of Khamlia, then ride a camel to watch the sun set over Erg Chebbi. You sleep at Sahara Stars Camp, a luxury desert camp, with dinner included. At sunrise on Day 8 you watch the light come up over the dunes and have breakfast among them before driving to Dades Gorge.

### What can I do on the free day in Marrakech?

Day 11 is open. You can walk the souks and landmarks, visit the Jardin Majorelle, or take a cooking class. A traditional hammam and a hot air balloon ride are also possible. Activities on this day are extras and are not included, so ask the team to arrange them.

### Which entrance fees are included?

Guided visits and entrance fees are included for the interior of the Hassan II Mosque and for the Ait Ben Haddou kasbah. Licensed local guides are included in Rabat, Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes, Meknes, Volubilis and Marrakech. If you want to know about entrance fees at other sites on the route, ask the team before you book.
